KebabΒ Plates

The spits get the spotlight, but the grill has been doing quiet, serious work this whole time. Kebab plates are the sit-down side of Patar: marinated meat threaded on skewers, grilled over open flame, and plated with rice, salad, greens, onion, and warm lavash. This is the meal you order when the night has time in it.

Grilled chicken and beef luleh kebabs over seasoned rice with grilled onion, salad, and lavash at Patar Shawarma Glendale

$18.99+

Chicken, beef, or pork off the open flame β€” luleh or skewer, plated with rice and the works.

Pick your skewer

The Chicken Breast Kebab Plate at $18.99 is the clean one: chunks of marinated breast grilled until the edges catch and the inside stays juicy, which is harder than it sounds and exactly why marinade time matters. The Chicken Luleh Kebab Plate at $19.99 goes the other way β€” seasoned minced chicken packed around the skewer by hand, so every bite is soft, herby, and rich from end to end.

On the beef side, the Beef Kebab Plate and Beef Luleh Kebab Plate both run $20.99. The skewered beef eats like steak that spent a night in a good marinade; the luleh is the backyard-grill flavor Glendale grew up on, all char and warm spice. The Chicken Thigh Kebab Plate at $19.99 is the juicier, darker-meat cousin of the breast. And the pork side of the grill is serious business: the Pork Belly / Ikibir Plate at $19.99 brings rich, slow-grilled belly skewered with onion, and the Pork Kebab Plate at $23.99 is juicy marinated pork with a crisp open-flame exterior.

Not that hungry, or building your own plate? Every skewer also comes Γ  la carte β€” chicken breast at $15.99, chicken luleh, chicken thigh, and pork belly at $16.99, beef luleh and pork kebab at $17.99, beef kebab at $19.99. And for a crowd, the party platters stack luleh, kebabs, and pork ribs over your choice of sides. They land on the table looking like a holiday.

What comes on the plate

Every kebab plate is a complete meal: seasoned rice, fresh salad, grilled onion and greens, warm lavash, and your choice on the starch β€” rice, french fries, baked potato, or a mix of sides if you refuse to choose, which around here is a respected position. The rice under a kebab does the same quiet work it does under shawarma, catching everything the meat lets go over the course of the meal.

The move regulars know: tear the lavash, lay a piece of luleh in it, add a slice of grilled onion and a swipe of toum, and build the wrap the plate was always hiding. A plate is really just a wrap with options.

Grill hours are spit hours

The grill runs the same hours as everything else in this kitchen, which means skewers over open flame until 2 AM. A full kebab plate at midnight is the kind of thing you usually have to drive to a banquet hall for. Here it's a counter order on Colorado Street.

Kebab plates travel well β€” the rice holds heat, the lavash rides on top, and the salad stays crisp in its own corner. Get them on DoorDash, Uber Eats, or Grubhub, or call (747) 377-0707 and the skewers hit the fire while you're on your way.
