FriesΒ &Β Sides
No shawarma order is truly complete without backup. Hot, crisp, well-salted fries lead the bench, with pickled turnips, fresh salad, and warm bread filling out the rotation. Small line on the menu, large role in the meal.

Crispy fries and the supporting cast. Dip them in toum once and you're changed.
The fries, and the move
The fries come out of the oil hot, golden, and salted while they're still glistening, which is the only acceptable time to salt a fry. On their own they're a solid side. Dipped in toum, they become a problem you'll want to have again. The garlic sauce clings to the hot fry, the heat softens the garlic's edge, and suddenly you understand why regulars order an extra tub with every fry order like it's a package deal. Around here, it basically is.
The advanced move is fries inside the wrap. Ask for it. The kitchen will not flinch. A few fries rolled into a chicken shawarma adds salt and crunch right where the lavash wants it, and plenty of Glendale kids grew up thinking that was the default.
Timing rule, since you asked: fries are at their peak for ten minutes, still great for twenty, and a lesson in mortality after that. Doing pickup? Tell us when you're five minutes out and they'll come out of the oil as you park on Colorado.
The rest of the bench
Pickled turnips deserve their own fan club. Bright pink, sharp, and crunchy, they're the reset button between rich bites of beef, and we pickle the cucumbers with the same intent. A side of either turns any wrap into a more complete meal. The salads do the same job in a different lane: a crisp summer salad for something light, or a loaded Greek salad when you want it to count, both dressed simply and there to balance the spit meat rather than compete with it. And if toum isn't your thing, the cool yogurt tzatziki is the gentler sauce β cucumber and herbs instead of raw garlic.
Extra warm pita or lavash rounds out the list, because somebody at the table always wants more bread for the hummus, and that somebody is correct. Sides are how you tune an order to the table you're feeding.
Sides strategy for every order size
Flying solo? Wrap plus fries plus a toum tub is the standard kit, and it lands at a price that respects your week. Feeding two or three? Add a salad and extra pickles so the meal stretches without anyone rationing. Going big with a Family Deal? The sides are already built in, but a second round of fries for the table has never once been regretted in the history of this shop.
Everything in the sides lineup travels well, which makes them the easy add-on when you're ordering through DoorDash, Uber Eats, or Grubhub. And the fryer keeps the same hours as the spits: hot fries at 1:30 AM are real and they are spectacular. Call (747) 377-0707 and confirm it for yourself.
